Archery Tip: How to think after you miss.

My archery Coach Marcia Wyman told me a story once, about how a high level archer was competing in large tournament with thousands of people watching and she missed the target.  Then this archer was able to consistently hit the 10 after that miss.   Marcia told me this story a few years ago, so maybe she hit the 1 or 2 but it was a big enough error that the crowd reacted.

How do you mentally pick yourself back up after a miss?  Do you beat yourself up? or do you decide to focus on the now, instead of the past?

Marcia, thank you for introducing me to the world of archery  🙂
