The Making of “Hitting The Bulls Eye” on The NH Chronicle, Channel 9

A couple of years ago we were featured on TV with Erin Fehlau from the NH Chronicle and her cool cameraman.  A huge thanks to Erin for contacting me and being willing to be one of my students in a private lesson and in a group class.  And you hit the balloon!!

It was wicked cool, we did the shooting at 2 different locations. We had to add a class to the adult education program that I was running.  For the other location I had a 3 day notice to get a group of students to come and shoot with us in Bow NH and for both events we needed good weather.   And it finished raining just before we started setting up for Erin’s private lesson, that was just before the adult education program, and it started raining again 3 hours later.

At the Adult Education program I had a guest archery instructor running the class while I was being interview with Erin…  And I never saw the footage of the interview with my students until I watched it on TV!!  As I was actively teaching then.

A big thank you to Kathy at the  Concord Community Education for letting me add an extra class to the already running archery class and to Cindy and her staff at the Bow Park & Recreation for letting me schedule a class on such short notice.  And a huge thank you to Erin and her crew at WMUR for contacting me and putting together such a great moment in time about archery for the New Hampshire Chronicle.

I’m very grateful to the my wonderful students who were able to come and participate in the filming.  And I know some of you talked to me, about how being on TV scared you and you did it any ways!!
