It is amazing when 72F feels hot!! We are up in the wilderness where you can’t hear any cars, on the road, but you can hear the wind in the trees. I love this time of year and it felt sooooo good to be outside with these amazing young people. And they gave me a card, thank you :).
They learned how to use score cards today and I talked with them about just focusing on the yellow, and to not worry about the arrows that didn’t go where they wanted but to focus on what they want instead.
ps yes that is snow in the background lol.
Hello Friends:
Spring into action with a sport that teaches calmness and allows you to be in the moment. Only a few spaces left for this archery special that usually cost $70 at this location and is now only… less than the coast of a dinner date 🙂
Classes meets on April 15th, May 6th,13th & 20th

Ps Please forward this blog, as the Concord Adult Education program does not have an advertising budget this year, and because of that, I’m trying to spread the word about all the great programs that they are offering.
I appreciate you 🙂
Who loves public speaking?
What does public speaking have to do with archery? Everything, and everything to do with life.
And you think public speaking is just for giving big speeches on the stage in front of thousands of people?? lol think again. Good speaking skills is about negotiating a pay raise, giving a presentation in front of the Olympic coach (I admit it was a little scary ), inspiring employees to be at a higher level of greatness, persuading friends to go to a particular movie, and just telling a good story to friends that bring them off into another place and time.
Check out this quick interview on my thoughts about toastmasters, an epic public speaking club. And a huge THANK YOU to Doris Soucy for inviting me on her TV show.

It has been an Epic few weeks 🙂 including some wonderful warm sunshine.
Yesterday one of my archery clients drove over 2 hours from Vermont to take her private lesson with me, and what I saw her carrying was the biggest arrow I have ever seen. She was carrying an arrow that was TALLER THAN ME!!
It sure looked like an arrow. It was about 6 feet long with feathers on one end. And it was a real arrow, but it is called a dart of all things.. I thought darts were less then 6 inches long. It was too long for a bow, so can you tell me what this huge dart is used for? I will finish this next week 🙂
I appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Coach Lucy
PS. I want to give a shout out to all of our hard working numbers people. You are the ones that sit in dark offices with no windows looking over the numbers. Preparing forms and making sure it is all done right before the paperwork is sent off to Uncle Sam. OK so some of you do have windows :). Thank you for all you.
Before the sun was thinking about waking up, Mag who is one of my archery clients and I, got together for a private lesson and here are her thoughts after the session.
Mag I appreciate you and thank you for being one of my clients. – coach Lucy
Archery online? What a strange idea :). No need to get dressed up like an Eskimo and pre-heat your car to join the class lol. Just cozy up to your computer with a warm cup of something good.
Isn’t winter awesome, ok ok don’t start throwing snow balls at me.
PS. The woman in the picture does not have perfect form as you don’t need to be perfect, just be the great you that are you are.
