As I write this, It is the deep of winter here in New Hampshire. The sun is shining and the snow is melting. Makes you think that spring is just around the corner lol. (until the next snow storm comes along),
Below is a picture of an early winter class outside on a warm day and yes, that is ice on the pond. Then during the second class, the sun dipped behind a cloud and the temperature dropped about 15 degrees in 15 minutes and we were all freezing. In between shots the class was doing jumping jacks. We moved the range inside for the 3rd class, it was by then getting very cold and a little dark.
Archery has a deep root in the lives of us humans. The bow and arrow (now called archery) allowed us, way back when, to not have to fist fight the animal for food and survival. The Bow and Arrow allowed the human race to hunt from a safer distance, when hunting for a bear or such.
Now you can use Archery as a way to relax from the stress of the day, or decompress from that challenging drive to archery class. And shoot at foam like substance that does not eat you alive if you miss…. thank god that the target does not have teeth, much more relaxing then being chased by a bear or a lion lol
